UFC has confirmed Holly Holm will return to the UFC’s bantamweight division to face Brazilian striker Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC Fight Night Singapore.
Holm (10-3) shot to fame when she dethroned dominant women’s athlete Ronda Rousey at at UFC 193, but has since gone on a three-fight losing streak – most recently to Germaine de Randamie for the women’s featherweight title at UFC 208 in February.
Correia (10-2-1) fell to Rousey when she challenged for the title in August 2015. She returns to the Octagon after a majority draw against Marion Reneau in March.
UFC Fight Night 111 will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 17 June. Full details about the event can be seen here.
The five-round bantamweight showdown between Holm and Correia joins a strong line up for the UFC’s return to Asia after a 19-month hiatus.
