School’s out and young Korean MMA prospect Lee Ye-Ji is back.
Lee (3-3), the “High School Fighter” will return to action on 23 December when she faces ROAD FC newcomer Araki Miki at the all-female ROAD FC 45 XX in Seoul.
Lee started her professional MMA career at just 16 years of age and experienced six matches in three countries against some stiff competition.
She has faced massive veterans Hisae Watanabe and Satoko Shinashi, avenging her first loss to Shinashi as the co-main event on the first all-female ROAD FC XX card.
Lee narrowly lost a split decision to Araki’s teammate Tomo Maesawa in her most recent outing, and the match showed her exactly what she needs to work on.
Araki Miki (5-2), also known by her Chinese name Pan Hui, is riding a two-fight win streak as she makes her debut match in ROAD FC.
After losing a decision to warhorse Emi Tomimatsu, she rebounded at DEEP Jewels 17 and then with a great win over Izumi Noguchi at Grandslam 6. Araki will not be an easy follow up for Lee, as her grappling skills will test the young prospect.
Previously announced for the main event of ROAD FC 45, world top ranked Ham Seo-Hee will make her first atomweight title defense against top challenger Jinh Yu Frey.
Ham made history by winning the first ROAD FC Women’s atomweight title by finishing DEEP champion Mina Kurobe in a thrilling battle. Jinh Yu Frey is the former Invicta FC atomweight title challenger and now top-ranked in the world’s first all-female MMA promotion.
The ROAD FC 45 card Includes:
· Ham Seo-Hee vs Jinh Yu Frey
· Yoshiko vs TBA
· Lee Ye-Ji vs Araki Miki
· Nandin-Erdene vs Rafael Fiziev
