DEEP CAGE IMPACT 2016 IN KORAKUEN HALL took place on 18th Oct 2016 at FULL HOUSE of Korakuen-Hall.

Yuki Motoya tried to fight at “Bantam-weight class” on this fight and took former DEEP Bantam Champion DJ taiki who would fight with 10 month absence. Motoya dominated  striking and ground fight almost all rounds and Motoya won. After the fight Motoya appealed to fight at RIZIN again to RIZIN CEO Sakakibara-san.

DEEP Straw-weight Grand-Prix FINAL was held between Kan Sato from “Grappling Shootboxers” in Nagoya and Sota Kojima from “Yoshida Dojo” in Tokyo. Kojima wanted to be a champion next to his team mate Tatsumitsu Wada (Fly-Weight champion). But sato always threw punches and kicks all rounds and almost submitted Kojima with rear-choke and triangle hold. Finally 22 years old Sato became a champion.
