Jomhod drew a standing ovation from the audience who have been following his fight career as a Lumpinee and Rajdamnern Muay Thai champion. As a Muay Thai legend in his own right, even his Cambodian opponent Vorn Viva was guarded as he expressed through his coach that he was very new to MMA and was looking to see where this sport took him.

Jomhod, on the other hand, was a picture of confidence, and calmly said that he was well prepared for his fight tomorrow, and that because of his extensive Muay Thai fight experience, he does not feel the pressure at all.
