#8 – Vuyisile Colossa 5 – 3 – 0 versus Lowen Tynanes 2 – 0 – 0
Tynanes takes Colossa down, but the South African shows nice defence and gets back standing, peppering the wrestler with kicks. Tynanes gets another TD and goes a nice job controlling Colossa on the ground, but Colossa lasts it out and gets a great reversal at the very last 10 seconds of the round. Round 2 opens and Colossa is looking to stand and strike. Tynanese with a huge TD and Colossa jumps guard while Tynanes slames him. From the bottom Colossa opens up a cut with elbow. Round two sees Colossa absolutely dominant on the feet, and Tynanes left leg is so tenderized that he switches stance. Colossa gets ahead of himself with a take down attempt that ends wrong but is saved by the bell. Round three and Tynanes knows he has to wrestle. Then he just holds Colossa down. Colossa gets guard and eventually is free, and snaps Tynanes head back with an up kick. A huge batch of scrambles sees Colossa reverse and get Tynanes leg for a heel hook. Tynanes is able to reverse it, take Colossa’s back and get the tap at the very end of the round.

#7 – Leo Krishna 2 – 0 – 0 versus Peter Davis 5 – 1 – 0
Krishna takes Davis down at the opening, but Davis controls it on the ground. He gets mount, and while Krishna tries to reverse, and both men jockey for a leg, Davis slams some heels into Krishna’s face. These split his lip half off his face, and Yuji Shimada calls the fight.

#6 – Adam Shahir Kayoom 3 – 1 – 0 versus Zuli Silawanto 6 – 5 – 0
Kayoom does a great job handling the powerful Silawanto. He gets him down, works different positions and finally gets the back and a tap via RNC.

Fouzein is lierally a last-minute fill in for Raymond Tan.

#4 – Melvin Yeoh 6 – 1 – 0 versus Raymond Tiew 4 – 2 – 0
Yeoh’s knees in the clinch are definitely putting him ahead throughout the first round. In the send, Yeoh controls as well, and when Tiew takes him down, doesn’t take long to slap on a triangle.

#3 – Jian Kai Chee 3 – 4 – 0 versus A.J. Lias 1 – 2 – 0
Chee survives a first round agains AJ’s repeated tackles. Aj takes Chee down more in the second, working for subs that AJ powers out of. When it’s standing again, Chee is able to clinch and use his knees. In the third, Chee lands a kick to the head that wobbles AJ, who tries to take away the distance with another tackle. AJ is clearly fading, and Chee’s hands are down as well, but he’s coming out with much more striking. AJ tries a throw but Chee reverses, throws him down, and we have our first soccer kick of the night. The round ends Chee throwing a combo and high kicks, and AJ trying another tackle.

#2 – Gianni Subba 1 – 0 – 0 versus Saiful Merican
Subba looks to be in complete control, knowing he doesn’t want to stand with the Muay Thai boxer’s fierce stand up. Merican shows more prowess on the ground however, and is able to reverse Subba quite a few times. Subba knows he has to finish it on the ground and does.
