UFC Fight Night 79 in Seoul, South Korea is going down today, November 28th, 2015, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena to a sold out crowd of 15,000. This event is headlined by a welterweight bout between Benson Henderson and Jorge Masvidal and includes other notable fighters such as “Stun Gun” Kim Dong-Hyun and “Sexyama” Choo Sung-Hoon competing on this historic night.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is entering the Korean market for the first time and bringing a four fight main card alongside seven preliminary matches which comprises fighters from China, Mexico, Columbia, USA, Brazil and South Korea.

Bang Tae-Hyun (South Korea) vs Leo Kuntz (USA)

Round 1 – Wild exchanges and Bang drops Kuntz with a left hook. Kuntz is hurt and Bang is dropping hammerfists. Kuntz lands a takedown but Bang has a guillotine and squeezing but no luck. They get up and start to throw hard again. Bang landing at the same time Kuntz is landing. Kuntz lands a takedown late.

Round 2 – Kuntz starts off with a left hand. Then, Bang comes back with two hard rights. They stand for a while and then Kuntz gets a takedown. He moves to the back and sinks in a rear-naked but it not fully locked in and Bang reverses and lands on top. A few punches and the round is over.

Round 3 – Bang with some lefts. Kuntz hits a jab. They are zombies by this point. Kuntz tries for a takedown and Bang falls back into a guillotine. They get back up and Bang gets the takedown. They swing at each other and miss for the rest of the round.

Result: Bang Tae-Hyun wins via Split Decision (29-28,29-28,28-29)
