The UFC has released the schedule for the remainder of 2018. The next UFC event in China has been scheduled. A UFC Fight Night will take place on November 24.
There was speculation from many at UFC Singapore in June that another China event was in the works. When Li Jingliang took the mic after decisioning Ukyo Abe, he asked to be put on “the November card in Beijing”. Other sources close to the UFC have also mentioned Beijing.
AsiaMMA has reached out to the UFC for confirmation: further details on location and venue should be announced in about one month.
This will be the first UFC appearance in mainland China since their inaugural Shanghai event in November of last year. Three events were held in the Special Administrative Region Macau, the “Las Vegas of Asia”.
UFC overseas events this year also include a breakthrough into Russia with Moscow on September 15, Sao Paolo and another South American city, twice in Canada, and finally Adelaide, Australia.
