ONE Fighting Championship today announced the signing of WBO and IBA World Champion Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton. She is expected to make her MMA debut on ONE FC 15 in Manila, Philippines.

Julaton is a Filipino American who won her first Golden Gloves bout with just two weeks of training under her belt. She continued a meteoric rise with only five pro fights before she won the IBA Super Bantamweight title. Consistently ranked in the top ten throughout her ten years in the sport, she has trained with Carena Moreno, Freddie Roach and Nonito Donaire Senior.

Now the 33-year old switches things up to take on a new combat sport. Julaton has been training for MMA in Las Vegas. Her MMA debut comes after a 7-month ring absence and just prior to her next scheduled boxing appearance.
