ONE FC recently announced the start of the 2015 calendar of events which sees ONE FC 26 go down in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 14th. Undefeated Indonesian Fransino Tirta will ostensibly be the main event, and will face Jens Pulver.

The match was announced by the Wall Street Journal blog Indonesia Real Time in lieu of a guest host in by Tirta and ONE FC Vice President Rich Franklin on the WSJ Indonesia Facebook page on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

Tirta is heralded as possibly the best Indonesian MMA fighter the country has yet produced. He has an undefeated record of 16-0-1 going back over ten years to Indonesia’s televised MMA heyday in TPI FC. Tirta is a spectacular grappler and a now a black belt under Niko Han, and he opened his own gym, Pitbull Academy, this year.

Pulver is one of the most notable lightweight fighters of all time, having heralded in the division at its advent as the first UFC Lightweight Champion. He’s gone 1-3 in ONE FC with his most recent being a loss to eventual winner Masakatsu Ueada in the Bantamweight Grand Prix in April of 2013.  Pulver’s last fight was a decision loss in Sweden one year ago.  Earlier in 2014, Pulver announced to several media outlets that he was retiring from the sport of MMA. However, it appears he’s changed his mind again, and wants another shot in the limelight.
