ONE FC 20 takes place September 12, 2014 at Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh, Cambodia featuring the inaugural ONE FC Flyweight Championship between Brazilian 125 pound sensation Adriano Moraes and top Filipino flyweight prospect Geje Eustaquio.
ONE FC adds four more match ups for their first-ever Cambodia trip including a rematch between Strikeforce vet Caros Fodor and Muay Thai wrecking machine Vuyisile Colossa, who was last reported as booking with the UFC. However, being still under contract with ONE FC, Colossa has been booked for another exciting appearance.
Fodor and Colossa first met last December of 2013 in Manila at ONE FC 13. Both warriors put the fans on their feet by showing their striking expertise against each other. Colossa smothered Fodor with cracking knees and accurate punches, but Fodor showed his toughness as he managed to stay on his feet despite getting tagged several times during the fight. Colossa walked away with a much deserved UD.
Fodor redeemed himself from that loss by tapping out Willy Ni in the very first round at ONE FC 16 and earned him a ticket to even the score with Colossa on September 12.
Also announced on the card, now Vietnam-based Arnaud “The Game” Lepont looks to end his three-fight losing stretch as he welcomes Suasday Chau into ONE FC. Lepont is one of the most interesting lightweights in Asia in and out of the cage, for his personality and boxing skills. Meanwhile, Chau is a fighter who can give Lepont a problem with his ground specialties when he meet the French fighter next month in his home country.
ONE FC 20 has two more scrap between up and comers as Singapore’s Radeem Rahman faces Taiwan’s Sung Ming Yen at bantamweight, and a Malaysia versus Singapore fight sees Muay thai Champion Jian Kai Chee welcoming Evolve MMA’s newest prospect to the ONE FC cage, Amir Khan.
