ONE FC 6 FULL CARD: MANHOEF VS KAWAMURA

Following a clash of bone against bone that left a slice of his shin open which ended his ONE FC debut in a disappointing No Contest,  Melvin Manhoef is finally climbing back in the cage for the Singapore fans at ONE FC 6, “Rise of Kings”.  He is fresh off an enormously well-fought split decision win after an exciting battle with Yuk JinSu at ROAD FC 9, and he’s looking to keep his future on the grid in the win column again.  Manhoef is a verified KO artists; he’s the only person ever to floor Mark Hunt.  Now being committed to the MMA game, he shows an incredible amount of heart and drive, even in the face of adversity.

Facing Manhoef will be Middleweight King of Pancrase Ryo Kawamura.   A Pancraseist since 2005, Kawamura has also won and defended the Light Heavyweight KOP belt before vacating it to move down a weight class.  He also fought in Sengoku against the likes of Kevin Randelman, King Mo, and is the only person to have defeated Antonio Braga Neto.  Kawamura is also former President of Pancrase so he’s been involved in the fight game in a broad manner of ways.

FULL CARD:

Kevin Belingon will take on Yusup Saadulaev in the third match in the Bantamweight Tournament.  Belingon is a Team Lakay star, and although he’s faced stiff competition on the last two of his outings – including leg lock master Imanari, his team is using what they learned collectively to expand the skills at their gym.  Saadulaev was introduced to Asian MMA by way of DREAM, where he lost a decision to Rodolfo Marques Diniz.  He came back at the New Years Eve show in stunning fashion by dumping Hideo Tokoro on his neck in a brutal KO.  Both guys are on many top Bantamweight lists, and good additions to this competitive tournament.
