Out of the three Gracies on the ONE FC 5 card, Gregor Gracie has had the most buzz surrounded him about the prospects for his possible opponent.  If the recent Facebook post by the Hybrid Yaw-Yan team can be taken as a done deal, heavily rumored Ray Elbe will be off the bargaining table.  Yaw-Yan announced that their Australian fighter Nicholas Mann would be facing him in a catchweight fight at 80kgs.

Mann’s most recent win was a well-deserved one in a Superfight bout at URCC XXI.  The URCC Light Heavyweight Champion took on the URCC Middleweight Champion, Frolian Sarenas who moved up in weight, and took the win by decision by using strong takedown defense and striking.

Gracie, whose last outing at ONE FC 4 against fellow black belt Adam Kayoom stopped his four fight win streak.  After the fight, Gregor said that he believed he was going to finish Kayoom in the first and put everything he had into it, thus cardio played a factor in his loss when it came to the decision.
