Pacific Rim Organized Fighting Championship – or PRO FC as it’s more commonly known – has been Taiwan’s defacto MMA event since 2009.

Founded by entertainment event specialist Royal Chiou, the promotion has hosted fighters from all over Asia, and has at times been the only platform for unsigned athletes to compete in.

In 2014, Taiwanese athletes Sung Ming Yen and Jeff Huang were signed by Singapore-based ONE FC and the promotion featured them in its first foray into the Taiwan market in July.

It seems that ONE FC 18 sparked a greater interest for MMA in the country, and PRO FC is looking to further the gains made by setting up a their tenth event. PRO FC is approaching crowd funding in order to finance it, in which the organization hopes to expand into an arena. Information on the campaign can be read at flyingV.cc.

PRO FC 10 is scheduled to take place in Taipei Gymnasium in Taipei, Taiwan on March 15, 2015.
