The official weigh-in event for PXC 44 took place June 26, 2014 from Pacific Islands Club in Tamuning, Guam.
All but one fighter made weight this morning and nine fights are ready to put on a show for he fans. Mark Nuique weighed seven pounds over the 125 pound limit. Despite his opponent coming in seven pounds overweight, Mcklane Alfred agreed to fight him and is pumped to win.
“It was really unprofessional and he’s blaming it that he only had six weeks which is more than enough to cut and I’m just disappointed but also fired up to get the job done,” Said Alfred.
Chuji Kato made weight but Frank Camacho didn’t show up this morning during the weigh ins. Camacho sustained a last-minute injury according to sources, making him unable to perform tomorrow night. That being said, the Japanese submission specialist will just watch PXC 44 at cage side.
PXC 44 will be headlined by the PXC Welterweight Title fight between Zebaztian Kadestam (interview) and Josh Calvo. In the co-main feature of the night, Japanese featherweight standout Yusuke Yachi welcomes Ryan Mulvihill in the PXC.
