Strikeforce and WEC vet Alvin Cacdac goes toe-to-toe with Ernesto Montilla Jr. for the vacant PXC Flyweight Title at PXC 46 as co-headliner of the night.
Chuji Kato and Glen Ranillo will headline the said card on November 16th at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City for the Lightweight title.
Cacdac is 3-1 in the PXC and has proven himself worthy of a shot at the title with his second round submission victory against top bantamweight contender Trevin Jones at PXC 40 in October of 2013.
Cacdac is a powerful puncher with a tremendous ground game. He has been in some of the most grueling fights and most of it he overcame with toughness and hard work.
He brings experience and off the roof confidence coming in to this fight against the much younger and hungrier fighter in Montilla Jr.
One of the fastet rising 125 pounders in the Philippines, Montilla Jr. has become a fan favorite in the PXC because of his stand and bang style of fighting and horrifying KO power. He has notable wins over Team Lakay’s Jerome Wanawan, Ruel Catalan and the former PXC flyweight title holder Ale Cali.
Montilla was always hungry and had this unbreakable will to win in his past fights. He grew up in a rough neighborhood in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines and worked his butt of to get to this point of his career.
It will be interesting to see how Montilla Jr. will react to Cacdac’s offense. This fight won’t go the distance as both competitors are known for their one-punch KO power.
