Wondering what happened to the UFC on FOX Sports Asia? Wonder no more. A new agreement has been reached between the promoter and the broadcaster which sets UFC back on air throughout Asia.
FOX SPORTS AND UFC® ANNOUNCE
BROADCAST RIGHTS DEAL EXTENSION
Bali – FOX Sports, Asia’s biggest sports content network and UFC®, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, announced today at the Asia-Pacific Video Operators Summit (APOS) taking place in Bali, Indonesia, the extension of FOX Sports’ broadcast rights of UFC® content. The deal covers multiple platforms across FOX Sports’ footprint in Asia (excluding the Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan), which continues its coverage of the mixed martial arts (MMA) organization.
In addition to the live coverage on FOX Sports, fans can look forward to watching UFC on-the-go via FOX Sports Play, which is currently available through multiple Pay TV platforms in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, with more platforms to be added soon.
