REAL FC 3 snags Fuji TV deal, Lenne Hardt to announce

Real Fight Championship 3 will take place on October 20, 2013 in Beijing, China on the back of the first ever ADCC biennial tournament to be held in the country. A source within the promotion has revealed that Lenne Hardt will be the announcer, and a broadcast of the tournament will be held on Fuji TV.

Real FC is Japanese-owned and managed but held in China, recently in Zhengzhou, Henan for its first two events. The second event was in partnership with well-known kickboxing promotion WuLinFeng and had a delayed broadcast on Henan Television. The third event moves to Beijing. According to Kinya Hashimoto in his blog post here, this Real FC event will expand its broadcast to Japan through Fuji TV, once the home of PRIDE and Sengoku. Hashimoto also revealed that PRIDE announcer Lenne Hardt has been garnered for this event.

While a fight card has not been released, DEEP Megaton Champ Ken Hasegawa has been greenlighted to fight in Real FC 3 against Jacek Czajczynski. Additionally, Marcos de Souza will be defending the Lightweight Tournament Championship title he won in Real FC 1. The other half of de Souza’s famous jiujitsu team, his brother Roberto Satoshi de Souza, will be making his MMA debut on the card.
