Kim Ji-Yeon vs “The Fighting Rose” Tang Jin

Round 1 – Tang starts with a left and Kim fires back a right. Kim clinches and works against the fence for most of the round. They both fall and Kim lands on top. Tang gets out and up. They commence to throwing haymakers at each other. Tang misses with an elbow and Kim grabs the back. Tang gets out and land more punches at the end of the round.

Round 2 – They exchange for the first half of the round on the feet and Tang seems to be getting the better of the exchanges but not by much. Tang has been working the front kicks and they seem to be hurting Kim. Then, with about a minute left Kim lasers a straight right that flattens Tang. Kim rushes in for some ground and pound but Tang survive to the bell.

Round 3 – Tang keeps working the front kick but Kim moves forward. The remainder of the round, Kim lands a few right hands and combos while Tang returns fired with left hands that find their target.

Result: Kim Ji-Yeon wins by Unanimous Decision (30-29,30-27,29-28)
