Titan FC has announced via its Twitter and Facebook that DEEP Megaton Champion Ken Hasegawa has signed with the promotion.
The 27-year old Hasegawa started as a 220-pound prodigy, and won the vacant DEEP title against Seigo Mizuguchi to remain undefeated in his career. He then won his first defense by split decision against Kazuhiro Nakamura, the current DEEP Middleweight Champion. He previously announced an intention to drop to the lighter divisions, however his next bout and class have yet to be released.
Hasegawa’s fellow Japanese fighters, UFC veterans Akihiro Gono and Yoshiyuki Yoshida previously signed with Titan FC, which is based in Kansas, USA.
All fighters are expected to make their debut in 2014, with Yoshida on Titan FC 30 in September 26th. Titan FC has a deal with CBS Sports Network to broadcast main card fights on the digital cable subscription channel and prelims stream live on CBSSports.com.
