On April 5, 2013, ONE FC held its eight event entitled “Kings and Champions at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. A full house watched ten fights that included the Semifinals of the Bantamweight Tournament and inaugural Lightweight Champion Kotetsu Boku make his first title defence against Shinya Aoki.
Masakatsu Ueda competed against Jens Pulver in the semifinals of the Bantamweight tournament.It was a very exciting match, and one that saw Ueda pull off a D’arce choke for the victory. On a bumpy bus ride back, MMA-in-ASIA.com had a brief chance to chat with him about the experience.
