Pacific Xtreme Fighting 38 takes place on Guam tonight, with a live stream viewable internationally.  The hometown throwdown features more visitors from the islands on the other side of the Pacific.

PXC 38 goes down on the hometown island of Guam tonight. Guam’s own Spike 22 Kyle Aguon is riding a 3-fight win streak going into this fight, which will be the toughest test he’s yet faced. His opponent Russell Doane‘s only loss came at the hands of Champion Michinori Tanaka, who stole the belt by a toughly contested 3 rounds and final choke. Hometown standout Josh Calvo will welcome once-prospect and UFC vet Anthony Torres back into the cage after a 5-year hiatus. After taking several tough fights against some of Asia’s best, Tony Reyes looks to get back to winning ways against fellow islander Shane Alvarez.

Japan’s fighters hit the island as grappler Emi Tomimatsu steps away from Jewels to take on newcomer Kailin Curran. Koshi Matsumoto is finding lots of luck on the US-side of the Pacific but that will be tested when he takes on the young hot rod Frank Camacho, who’s decided his future lies in MMA. Rambaa Somdet, Thai boxer long based in Japan, will literally be gunning for wushu champ Rabin Catalan in what will definitely be a violent bout. Shooto Pacific Rim Champion Yusuke Yachi has smartly decisioned every stellar opponent in his last 6 fights on the way to the belt, and low will face his first foreigner in a foreign land,Toby Misech, who needs to stop Yachi’s momentum in order to solidify his own future.
