After Choi DooHo‘s recent shellacking of Shoji Maruyama DEEP Cage Impact in June, speculation was rife that the UFC would come calling on the CMA fighter in their conquest of the Asian market. At the end of October 2013, Choi signed with SuckerPunch Entertainment in the hopes of getting that deal done. This week, SuckerPunch confirms that a contract has been signed for Choi to enter the organization. His first fight has yet to be confirmed, however he will not me debuting on the Singapore event scheduled at the beginning of 2014. It is still possible that Choi could start his UFC career in his own time zone as the UFC will be holding another event in Macau, China in March 2014 for The Ultimate Fighter China finale.
