KANG KYUNGHO INJURED, OUT OF DEBUT ON UFC MACAU

In disappointing news this morning, Kang KyungHo, the latest burgeoning superstar from Team MAD, has announced he was injured and will not be able to make his debut in the UFC against Alex Caceres on November 10th on Fuel TV 6 in Macao, China.

Kang said on his Facebook page that he was “sorry for this disappointing news” but that he would “come back more solid for the next match”.  Kang was set to make his debut in the organization after he won the Bantamweight Championship at South Korea’s domestic hard-hitter, ROAD FC.  In sparring practice on October 29th, he tried a front kick on his partner and was blocked with an elbow.  Korea’s domestic MMA site MFight states that it fractured his leg and he will need about 3 months to heal properly.  The UFC has not yet updated the developments on their event page.
