ROAD FC 20 will take place on December 14, 2014 in Seoul, South Korea. The main event will be Lee Gil-Woo’s Bantamweight title defense against Lee Yoon-Jun, and Commentator Kyler Kim will also fight on the card.

Kyler Kim, known on fight records as Kim Dae-Hwan (the other Hwan), is the Commentator for ROAD FC events, and he does the Korean UFC commentary for broadcasts on SuperAction. He’s also known all over Asia because he’s traveled to many events to corner and translate for Korean fighters as he’s fluent in English.

Kim’s handsome screen-worthy face is broken only by a broken nose and cauliflower ears, testament to his life off-screen. He owns and operates an MMA gym, Kim Dae-Hwan MMA, in Bundang, Seongnam and he started fighting MMA ten years ago. Because of his busy schedule, Kim’s record is a sparse 2-1. His broadcast duties require open eyes and an undamaged mouth, so he’s had to keep his fight career on the back burner.

At ROAD FC 20, he’ll be getting in the cage once again – without the suit – and will take on both roles that night, as commentator and fighter. Jon Nutt did it in Dare, and Jeff Glover in Metamoris 4. Kim will face Douglas Kobayashi, from Brazil Thai and Extreme BJJ, who kick boxes in Japan’s HEAT, competes in BJJ at brown belt, and has an MMA record of 1-2-1NC. As Kim likes to stand and bang, this should be a fun fight.

Also on the card, superstar Song Ga-Yeon will take on her second MMA fight, with the opponent yet to be announced. Song is so popular in Korea now that she goes everywhere with a bodyguard. At just 19 years old, she does have a bright future ahead of her.
