ROAD FC recently announced that Lightweight semifinalist Lee YongJae would be unable to continue in the next round of the tournament on November 24th in Busan, South Korea due to internal illness.  Lee was set to face Kume Takasuke, and the other semifinal match is Vuyisile Colossa versus Nam YuiChul.  Road FC has now announced that a replacement for Lee has been found in Team POMA’s head coach, Yoon SeungChul.  He is 5-2 in his professional career, possesses a well-rounded skill set, and hits hard.

“It’s the game itself rather than leaving the tournament as a winner that’s important. Again, it’s just going to feel great. Now that I have the opportunity, I will do my best to fight with heart.”

Yoon Chul’s Team POMA is home to well-known MMA commentator and MMA fighter Kim DaeHwan and grappling sensation Park IlGyu, as well as recent up and comer Lee JaeHo. Here’s a behind the scenes video of when the coach and the team went to fight in England at East Coast Fight Factory last year.
